Decanter Centrifuge is the fourth stage separation in Mud Recycling System for drilling rig. Decanter Centrifuge is driven by two motors (Electrical or hydraulically driven), the main motor drives the drum and the differential housing to screw through the belt, and the auxiliary motor drives the spiral after the differential speed changes. In this way, the drum and the screw in the same direction, and have a certain differential speed. The centrifugal sedimentation principle is used to separate the drilling suspension. The suspension enters the drum from the feed pipe through the liquid outlet hole in the screw pusher. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid particles are pushed to the inner wall of the drum and pass through the screw pusher. The upper blade is pushed to the small end of the slag discharge port and discharged, and the liquid phase overflows through the overflow port of the large end to achieve solid-liquid separation.
