Filter Press

The filter press uses a special filter medium to exert a certain pressure on the object to make the liquid dialyze out of a kind of mechanical equipment, which is a commonly used solid-liquid separation equipment. ZH Filter Press Working Principle

The mixed liquid flows through the filter medium (filter cloth), and the solids stay on the filter cloth and gradually accumulate on the filter cloth to form a filter cake. The filtrate part penetrates the filter cloth and becomes a clear liquid without solids. As the filtration process proceeds, the filter cake filtration begins, the thickness of the mud cake gradually increases, and the filtration resistance increases. The longer the filtration time, the higher the separation efficiency. The specially designed filter cloth can retain particles with a particle size of less than 1μm. In addition to the excellent separation effect and the high solid content of the mud cake, the filter press can also provide a further separation process: during the filtration process, the filter mud cake can be effectively washed at the same time, so that valuable substances can be recovered. And high-purity filter cake can be obtained.

Constitutive Requirement

  • The base, the base material is Q345B steel, which is formed by carbon dioxide welding and is quenched to ensure the stable performance of the filter press.
  • Thrust plate: it is connected with the support, and one end of the filter press is placed on the foundation. The thrust plate of the box filter press has a feed hole in the middle, and four holes in the four corners. The hole is the inlet of washing liquid or compressed gas, and the lower two corners are the outlet (undercurrent structure or filtrate outlet).
  • Pressing plate: used to press the filter frame of the filter plate, and the rollers on both sides are used to support the pressing plate to roll on the rail of the beam.
  • Beam: It is a load-bearing component. According to the requirements of the environment for anti-corrosion, you can choose hard polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, stainless steel coating or new anti-corrosion coating.
