Working principle of Decanter Centrifuge
Start the Decanter Centrifuge. When the speed of the Decanter Centrifuge reaches the material supply, with the help of the slurry feeding pump(Screw Pump), the materials that need to be separated enter to the centrifuge. Due to the high-speed rotation of the Decanter Centrifuge, centrifugal force is generated. Under the action of the centrifugal force , the material is divided into two or three phases. The heavier solid phase settles on the inner wall of the strand. Due to the differential speed produced by the differential, the solid phase is screwed to the small end of the strand and is discharged through the slag discharge port. The phase flows out through the overflow port at the big end.

Two Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge with Middle Speed used for recover the barite, also called barite recovery centrifuge, the size of solids phase separation is not less than 5-7 micron. Mud Recycling System for drilling rig like ZJ40, ZJ50 even more bigger drilling rig, the Mud Recycling System always has two Decanter Centrifuge, one is middle speed, another one is high speed. The speed of this Decanter Centrifuge can arrive at 3900 RPM, the size of solids phase separation Decanter Centrifuge with high is not less than 2-5 micron.
Three Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge
Three Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge can separate Solids Phase, Water and Oil, mainly used for Drilling Waste Management and Oil Sludge Treatment System. Three Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge used after the Two Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge. We use Two Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge separate most of solids phase in fluid, then the Three Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge can separate Solids Phase, Water and Oil. The size of solids phase range Three Phase Separation Decanter Centrifuge is 0.005-2 micron.
